As we celebrate 200 years of the Constitutions and Rules of the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate, we invite you to join us for the 2026 De Mazenod Family Gathering.
Over four days, members of the De Mazenod Family, those involved in Oblate ministries, and all who are drawn to the spirituality and mission of St Eugene de Mazenod will gather from across Australia for prayer, reflection, conversation, workshops, and community.
More than a conference, this is an opportunity to reconnect, deepen friendships, celebrate our shared charism, and reflect together on how we continue St Eugene's mission in our communities today.
Whether you have been part of the De Mazenod Family for many years or are only beginning to explore the charism, you are warmly welcome.

The De Mazenod Family Gathering will take place from Thursday 22 October to Sunday 25 October 2026.
Participants are invited to arrive from 4:00pm on Thursday for registration and check-in. Thursday evening will provide an opportunity to settle in, reconnect with old friends, meet new people, and begin our time together through prayer and community. A light supper will be available during the evening.
As many participants will be travelling from across Australia, we understand that arrival times may vary throughout the evening. The main Gathering program will commence on Friday morning and conclude with lunch on Sunday.

Accommodation is provided onsite at St Eugene’s Retreat Centre, with rooms on a shared basis.
We recognise that some participants may prefer or require a single room. A limited number of single rooms are available, and an additional cost will apply. If you would like to enquire about a single room, please contact Emma directly before completing your registration.
❋ FAMILIES AND CHILDREN
The Gathering is family-friendly, and participants are warmly welcome to attend with children. We hope to create opportunities for families to participate together throughout the weekend. During registration, please provide details of any children attending so we can make appropriate arrangements and ensure everyone feels included.

For participants travelling from interstate, airport transfer information will be provided closer to the event.
If you are considering attending but are unsure about travel arrangements, please contact us and we will be happy to assist where possible.
❋cost
Registration has been structured to make the Gathering as accessible as possible while covering the cost of accommodation, meals, and all program costs.
Victorian Participants: $200 per person
Interstate Participants: $100 per person (subsidised to assist with travel costs)
Children (2-16 years): $50 per child
Registration includes accommodation, meals, and participation in all Gathering activities from Thursday evening through to Sunday lunch.
