Almost finished...The relocated St Mary's Seminary

The end is in sight!

After several years of discernment, planning, meetings upon meetings and almost a year of demolition and construction, the new St Mary’s Seminary is almost in sight. The old house of 647 Burke Rd, newly renovated, now hosts a beautiful new chapel, the Mazenod heritage room, and a beautiful, stately library, plus the extensions with a reading room, formator’s offices, bedrooms and community space, kitchen, dining room, patio, 8 bedrooms with ensuites for students and below ground plenty of space for the seminary community to commune, play, relax and have fun.
The seminary formation community are very excited about moving over to the new premises within the next two weeks. It will still take some time to finish off the last bits and pieces, with a grand opening expected some time next year.
The province is delighted in this latest development and the spirit has led us to put our formation first, offering the best facilities to our students to prosper their development as Oblates. We thank all who have been involved in the process and we look forward to unveiling the finished product to you soon.
